Since joining Big Talk, Celia has assisted Nira on Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, Greg Mottola’s Paul, Attack the Block with director Joe Cornish, and the first series of Channel Four’s Free Agents. Prior to this, she worked with producer Marian Macgowan developing various features and TV series, and was Assistant Producer on the 2007 release Death Defying Acts starring Catherine Zeta-Jones. From 2002-2004 she was Acquisitions Manager for Miramax Films, closely tracking talent and feature projects across Australia, New Zealand and Japan. She has worked on several feature and television productions including Rolf de Heer’s The Tracker (Venice 2002), and in publicity at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
