Luke Alkin joined Big Talk from Channel 4. During his time there as acting Head of Drama , The Devil’s Whore, Endgame and The Red Riding trilogy all went into production. Prior to this, Luke spent 9 years at BBC Films as a development executive. His credits there included Tomorrow La Scala!, Bulletboy, Out of Control and the multi-award winning The Gathering Storm. Luke also optioned Jon Ronson’s book The Men Who Stare At Goats which was adapted by Peter Straughn and starred George Clooney and Ewan MacGregor. Luke went on to produce Dirty War for HBO and BBC Drama, Learners written by Jessica Hynes and starring David Tennant and the feature film Grow Your Own written by Frank Cottell Boyce and directed by Richard Laxton for BBC Films, the UK Film Council and Pathe.

Luke recently produced Threesome by Tom MacRae for Comedy Central.
