Production and Business Co-ordinator

Full-time, Permanent Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production and Business Affairs Co-ordinator to join our busy central London office and invite applications from individuals with the necessary skills.

This role entails…

Jointly reporting to our Head of Legal & Business Affairs and our Head of Production, the successful candidate will be responsible for proving a high level of proactive support to our Business Affairs and Production teams.

Working as an integral part of both teams the role’s responsibilities are expansive and varied and include:

  • Supporting our Production Teams to set up new productions;
  • Helping to schedule Production meetings with freelance teams and the members of Big Talk;
  • Ensuring that contract trackers and logs are finalised and submitted at the end of productions;
  • Assisting colleagues to answer questions from production teams regarding clearances (including music);
  • Assisting with post production paperwork;
  • Setting up and manage cast & crew screenings;
  • Managing the storage and archive of files, hard-drives, tapes etc;
  • Responding to ad-hoc enquiries;
  • Organising travel and accommodation.
  • Assisting to maintain our Business Affairs project management system;
  • Maintaining our programme rights options and deals databases and online and physical filing systems;
  • Co-ordinating the signature of documents and payment of invoices with agents and their assistants;
  • Assisting the Legal & Business Affairs team to provide professional support to production teams.

What do I need to get this role/job?

The successful candidate will have proven organisational, administrative and IT skills with a strong attention to detail, they will understand the requirements of a small but busy production team and will be able to proactively provide support to colleagues.

Previous experience of working in a similar role in-house or within a production office and/or on set experience is required.

Candidate’s must have strong communication skills with a proven ability to deliver within deadlines.
