Victoria Grew

Executive Producer (Comedy)

Victoria was thrilled to join the talented team at Big Talk in September 2017 and is currently executive producing the second series of BAFTA-nominated Timewasters. She is also managing a development slate with a raft of new comedy projects that she hopes will continue Big Talk’s reputation for producing funny, irreverent and truthful comedy.

Beginning her career in BBC Films, Victoria quickly realised that reading funny scripts was how she wished to spend her entire working life. She headed for Alomo Productions where she script-edited several series by the legendary Marks and Gran, whilst also managing the development slate and a host of writing and performing talent. After a stint heading up drama development for Talkback Thames, Victoria returned to comedy and worked in the commissioning departments at ITV and UKTV. Victoria most recently script-edited Yonderland for Working Title and freelanced for NBCU and What Larks as a Development Producer. She has been a finalist in several writing competitions with her two original screenplays, and has worked as a columnist for Red magazine and a film reviewer. She feels very old when she tells people she’s been working in TV for twenty-two years, but also very proud.
